Hi guys! I have a bit of a challenge for you today....
See, next week is the Fierce Reads tour stop in San Diego and I'm going to be the designated blogger for Macmillan. Besides them sending me all of the pretty books for a giveaway, they've so awesomely set up a chance for me to interview the authors!
I will be seeing:
Ann Aguirre
Gennifer Albin
Jessica Brody
Leigh Bardugo
It's all very exciting and maybe a little nerve wracking. Instead of coming up with questions, I thought I would ask you guys to come up with some. Is there anything you've always wanted to know about these four ladies? Curious about their writing habits or favorite tv show or what their favorite drink from Starbucks is? You tell me and I'll ask 'em.
Just leave a comment before the event on October 29th!
Oh and remember that comment about giveaway books? Yep. Here's the pretty stack Macmillan sent me today. They'll be signed and up for grabs on the recap post.
Now... ask away!

Which is the hardest to write, the first or last line in your novels?
ReplyDeleteDo you have any other things in the work? What's the most stressful thing about writing? What part(s) of your books were the hardest to write?
ReplyDeleteAsk Leigh about how she came up with shadow and bone when she was in Houston she had a funny story to share <3
ReplyDeleteOoh this tour is coming to me in a few weeks :)
ReplyDeleteIf you have a chance, could you ask them what their other create outlets or hobbies are?
ReplyDeleteI've heard some authors say that their first book was the easiest to write and it takes longer to write now, so I wonder if they find that it takes them more, less, or the same amount of time to write later books as it took to write the first book? Also, on average how long does it take them to write a book (minus edits)?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you like more - drafting or revising?
ReplyDeleteCould you ask them what they think of writers starting later in life? So many authors start in their teens but I'm in my 20s now, so I'm curious as to what authors think about it. Is it ever too late to start writing?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the fiercest thing about their book?
ReplyDeleteFor Leigh or really any of the authors, do you have new stories forming in your mind or have you started writing anything new? Will you stick with the same genre or expand your horizons?
ReplyDeleteI have a few questions!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the most drastic thing you have ever done for a deadline?
At what time did you think you were going to be a writer and get into all the things you have?
Where were you when you first found out you were going to be published?
What song best describes your writing process/technique?
